The Club organises a wide variety of social events both on and off the water. The club has a licenced bar, look for the opening times in the clubhouse window. The clubhouse is available for hire at very competitive rates, please ask a Committee Member for details. There is no hire fee for any Registered Charities.

New Years Eve Party, 31 December 2011 - If you remember the last New Years Eve Bash then you'll remember that it was the best social event of the year. We had so much fun that evening that we want to do it all again. So we are holding a bigger, better one this year. As well as food we will have a marquee and a bouncy castle for the children.

We know that the demand is going to be overwhelming so we are going to be selling tickets this time and there is a limited number so if you want to come along you need to buy your tickets fast. The tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Laying Up Supper, 5 November 2011 - This year the Laying Up Supper was combined with Firework Night to give Members double the excitement and those that attended were not disappointed. It was kicked off with a lovely curry and then went with a bang with a firework display. This was followed by live music late into the night.

Fitting Out Bash on Saturday, 23 April 2011 - We are kicked off the Sailing Season with a Bang (or a Bash). Peggy excelled herself with some traditional faire. It is difficult to single out one part as the Bangers delicious onion gravy were then finished off with a lovely "Club" made Apple and Blackberry Crumble (made with blackberries from Peggy's own allotment).
